Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: May 12, 2026

TakeHomeTax believes in transparency about how the site earns revenue. This page explains our affiliate relationships, sponsored content policies, and editorial independence.

How We Make Money

TakeHomeTax is a free, independent publisher. We earn revenue from three sources:

Current Affiliate Relationships

As of the last update of this page, TakeHomeTax does not have any active affiliate marketing relationships with tax software vendors, financial advisers, lenders, insurance companies, or other commercial products. If this changes, this page will be updated and any affected pages will carry a clear inline disclosure.

Sister Sites

TakeHomeTax links to several sister sites operated by the same publisher (NumbersLab):

These are not paid relationships; they are properties operated by the same team. Traffic between the sites does not generate commission. We disclose this so you understand the editorial relationship.

Editorial Independence

Our calculations, rankings, guides, and articles are written and edited without influence from advertisers or affiliate partners. We do not accept payment to feature products, alter our rankings, or change calculator results. If a partnership would compromise editorial independence, we will not enter it.

Sponsored Content Policy

We do not currently publish sponsored content. If we ever do in the future, sponsored pieces will be clearly labeled as "Sponsored," "Paid Partnership," or similar disclosure at the top of the content, and they will be visually distinguished from our editorial content.

FTC Compliance

This disclosure is provided in accordance with U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255). Our intent is to comply fully with all applicable disclosure requirements.
